1. Eligibility

The Platform is intended for civic education and engagement and may be used by participants of various ages. Where a quiz or a feature carries its own minimum-age or eligibility condition, that condition will be stated on the relevant page and will apply in addition to these Terms.

If applicable law requires parental or guardian consent for a user below a certain age, that consent must be obtained before the user participates.

You must provide accurate, current and complete information when registering, and keep that information up to date.

2. Account Registration & Security

Registration and login use one-time-password (OTP) verification of your mobile number. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

• One account per mobile number — do not create or use multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage on the leaderboard, in points, or in any prize or certificate programme.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• We may verify your identity before actioning certain requests (such as a prize dispatch).

3. Quiz Participation

Each quiz is a timed, multiple-choice assessment. Once you start a quiz, a deadline is set for its completion; the Platform may auto-submit your attempt at that deadline, and answers already selected at that point are scored as submitted.

Unless a quiz states otherwise, you may attempt each quiz only once. A second attempt at the same quiz is not permitted and will not be scored.

You agree not to:

• Use bots, scripts, browser extensions or other automated or unauthorised means to answer questions or interact with the Platform;
• Exploit a bug, glitch or unintended behaviour of the Platform to gain points, rank, certificates or prizes;
• Share quiz answers with, or obtain answers from, other participants while a quiz is open;
• Attempt a quiz using more than one account, whether your own or another person's;
• Otherwise interfere with the fair operation of a quiz, the leaderboard, or a certificate or prize programme.

We may investigate suspected violations and may void an attempt, adjust points, withhold or revoke a certificate or prize, or suspend an account, where we reasonably believe this section has been breached.

4. Scoring, Points & Leaderboard

Each submitted attempt is scored as a percentage of correctly answered questions, which is then converted to points on a banded scale (for example, a higher score band earns more points than a lower one, with the highest band reserved for a perfect score). These bands may be revised from time to time; the current scoring rule applicable to a quiz is reflected in the points you're shown after submitting it.

Your total points across all submitted quizzes determine your position on the public leaderboard, which may display your name, state and points. A separate monthly leaderboard tracks points earned within a single calendar month for the purpose of the monthly prize programme described below.

Leaderboard rank and point totals are provided for informational and recognition purposes and, except where a specific prize programme states otherwise, do not by themselves entitle a participant to any prize.

5. Certificates

The Platform may recognise participants with one or more of the following certificates:

• Participation certificate — issued automatically once a single attempt reaches the qualifying score for that quiz.
• Certificate of Excellence — a one-time, platform-wide certificate for participants who sustain a high average score across their recent attempts.
• Monthly Top 10 certificate — awarded to the 10 highest point-scorers of a closed calendar month (see “Monthly Prizes” below).

Certificates are generated electronically and made available for download from your account. We may take reasonable time to generate a certificate after you become eligible for it.

We may withhold, delay or revoke a certificate where we reasonably believe it was obtained through a violation of Section 3 (Quiz Participation) or otherwise through fraud or misuse of the Platform.

6. Monthly Prizes & Swag Kits

At the end of each calendar month, the 10 participants with the highest points earned that month are identified as that month's top 10 and awarded a Monthly Top 10 certificate, along with a physical swag kit.

• Rankings for a month are finalised only after that month has closed; standings shown while a month is still in progress are provisional and may change until the month ends.
• A winner must provide a complete and accurate shipping address (collected via your profile) for the swag kit to be dispatched. We are not responsible for delayed or failed delivery caused by an incomplete, incorrect or outdated address.
• Swag kits are, at present, couriered only to addresses within India.
• Dispatch timelines are indicative and may vary depending on courier availability, address verification, and the volume of that month's winners.
• The composition of a swag kit is at our discretion and may vary between months; it is not exchangeable for cash.
• A participant may win the monthly prize in more than one calendar month; each such win is fulfilled separately.

We may modify, pause or discontinue the monthly prize programme, including the number of winners, the prize composition, or the programme itself, on prospective notice published on the Platform. Winners already determined before such a change remain entitled to that month's award.

7. Cash Prizes

Certain quizzes may carry a cash prize, as stated on that quiz's own page. Where a cash prize applies, eligibility, the winner-selection method, and any additional conditions will be stated on that quiz's page and form part of these Terms for that quiz.

Disbursal of a cash prize may require additional verification (such as identity or bank account details) and may be subject to applicable tax deduction at source or other statutory deductions under Indian law, which are the recipient's responsibility unless stated otherwise.

We may withhold a cash prize pending verification, or where we reasonably believe Section 3 (Quiz Participation) has been violated in connection with that quiz.

8. Referral Programme

Registered users may share a personal referral code. When a person you refer signs up using your code and completes their first qualifying quiz attempt, you are credited a one-time number of referral points to your account, as shown on your profile page.

Referral points count toward your leaderboard total but, unless separately stated, do not themselves have a cash redemption value.

A referral credit is triggered once per referred person. We may withhold or reverse referral credit obtained through fake accounts, self-referral, or other abuse of the programme.

9. Intellectual Property

All quiz content, questions, text, graphics, logos, certificates and other material made available on the Platform are owned by, or licensed to, us or the Indian National Congress, and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial participation. You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, publicly perform or create derivative works from Platform content — including quiz questions — for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.

A certificate issued to you may be downloaded, printed and shared for personal, non-commercial purposes such as demonstrating your achievement.

10. Political Content & Non-Affiliation

The Platform is associated with the Indian National Congress and may include quizzes and content relating to its history, ideas, programmes and public activities.

Participating in a quiz, registering an account, earning points, or receiving a certificate or prize does not by itself establish, represent or certify your political affiliation, membership, or voting intention, and we will not represent it as such.

11. Third-Party Services

The Platform relies on third-party services for certain functionality, including phone-number authentication and bot protection, cloud hosting, and machine translation of content into Hindi. Your use of those features is also subject to the applicable third party's own terms, to the extent they apply.

12. Disclaimers

The Platform, including all quizzes, scoring, leaderboards, certificates and prizes, is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of loss of data, including in-progress quiz attempts affected by a network or device issue.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform, including loss of points, an interrupted quiz attempt, or a delayed or lost certificate or prize shipment, except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right or protection that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

15. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, or restrict your access to specific features, where we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraud or abuse, or where required by law.

You may stop using the Platform at any time. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnification — will continue to apply after your account is closed.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, the Platform, or our practices. The updated version will be published on the Platform with a revised “Last Updated” date, and will apply from that date onward. Continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory right you have under applicable law, any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
